When you apply to join the Social! community, we collect your email address, first name or nickname, and your responses to the application form. This information is collected solely for reviewing your application and operating the community.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to review membership applications, contact applicants about their application, manage community membership, maintain a safe and respectful environment, and respond to enquiries. We do not sell or use your personal information for advertising or marketing purposes.
Third-party services
To operate the community and process applications, we use trusted third-party services including Google Forms, Google Workspace—including Sheets, Gmail and Drive—Zapier and WhatsApp. We also use Meetup and Facebook to share information about the community and direct people to this website. These services operate under their own privacy policies.
Data retention and your rights
We retain application data only for as long as necessary to operate the community and fulfil administrative or legal obligations. Where applicable, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.
